EZVIZ T1C – Smart PIR Motion Detection for Your Home

Add intelligent activity monitoring to your home with the EZVIZ T1C, a compact PIR motion sensor designed to detect human movement and provide timely alerts. When connected to a compatible EZVIZ Home Gateway, the T1C becomes part of a connected smart-home security system that can notify you through the EZVIZ App whenever relevant movement is detected.

Its small size, adjustable mounting design and long battery life make it suitable for bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, entrances and other important indoor areas.

Reliable PIR Motion Detection

The EZVIZ T1C PIR Motion Sensor uses passive infrared technology to identify movement based on changes in infrared energy.

It provides a maximum detection distance of up to 7 metres (23 feet), making it suitable for monitoring many common indoor spaces.

When installed correctly, the sensor helps users know when somebody enters or moves through the protected area without requiring a security camera in every room.

90° Detection Coverage

The T1C provides a 90° horizontal and 90° vertical detection angle.

Its coverage helps monitor a useful area while maintaining a compact physical design. For wall installation, EZVIZ recommends positioning the sensor approximately 1.8 to 2.5 metres high to achieve suitable detection performance.

Correct positioning can help users cover doorways, hallways, rooms and other areas where human activity needs to be monitored.

360° Adjustable Installation

Every room has a different layout, so the EZVIZ T1C is designed with flexible positioning in mind.

Its mounting design can be rotated through 360 degrees, allowing users to point the detection area toward the location they want to monitor.

The sensor supports convenient wall and ceiling installation using its adhesive and magnetic mounting design, making setup straightforward without complicated wiring.

Instant Alerts Through EZVIZ App

When the T1C detects movement, users can receive an instant notification through the EZVIZ App.

This allows you to stay informed about activity at home even when you are away. Whether the sensor is installed near an entrance, in a hallway or inside another important room, mobile notifications provide a convenient way to monitor detected activity remotely.

A compatible EZVIZ Home Gateway is required for connected smart functions.

Pet-Proof Detection Adjustment

Pets can sometimes cause unnecessary motion alerts. The T1C includes a pet shield that can be used to adjust the sensor’s detection coverage.

When correctly installed, the shield helps reduce alerts caused by pets moving through the monitored space.

For pet-proof operation, EZVIZ recommends installing the sensor at least 50cm higher than the pet’s body height and using the included pet shield according to installation guidance.

Anti-Tamper Alarm

The EZVIZ T1C includes an anti-tamper function for additional security.

If someone forcibly removes or interferes with the sensor’s cover, the system can generate an alert. This helps users know when the security device itself may have been physically disturbed.

Smart Integration with EZVIZ Cameras

The T1C can work with selected compatible EZVIZ cameras through the connected Home Gateway.

When the motion sensor detects activity, a compatible linked camera can automatically begin recording according to supported automation and storage settings.

This creates a more complete security setup by combining motion detection with visual monitoring.

ZigBee 3.0 Connectivity

The EZVIZ T1C communicates with its compatible Home Gateway using ZigBee 3.0.

ZigBee is well suited to smart sensors because of its energy-efficient design. EZVIZ specifies a communication distance of less than 200 metres when tested in an open environment, although actual indoor performance depends on walls, interference and installation conditions.

Up to 2 Years of Battery Life

The T1C uses a replaceable CR2450 battery.

Battery life can reach up to one year in high-performance mode or up to two years in energy-saving mode, based on EZVIZ’s stated test conditions.

A low-battery reminder helps users know when the battery should be replaced.
