AX3000 Dual-Band WiFi 6

The Mercusys MR80X AX3000 WiFi 6 Router delivers combined theoretical wireless speeds approaching 3Gbps. The 5GHz band provides speeds of up to 2402Mbps, while the 2.4GHz band reaches up to 574Mbps.

The faster 5GHz connection is well suited to demanding applications such as high-resolution streaming, large file transfers and other bandwidth-intensive activities. Meanwhile, 2.4GHz provides broad compatibility for everyday internet use and connected smart devices.

By supporting both bands, the MR80X gives users greater flexibility when connecting different types of wireless devices.

OFDMA for Efficient Multi-Device Networking

The Mercusys MR80X supports OFDMA, one of the important technologies introduced with WiFi 6.

OFDMA allows available wireless resources to be divided more efficiently when communicating with multiple compatible devices. This can improve overall network efficiency and reduce unnecessary waiting when numerous products are accessing the network.

MU-MIMO Technology

Four High-Gain Antennas with Beamforming

The MR80X is equipped with four 5dBi fixed omni-directional antennas designed to provide strong wireless signal distribution.

Gigabit Wired Connectivity

For devices that benefit from wired networking, the Mercusys MR80X provides Gigabit Ethernet ports.

The current V4 specification includes one Gigabit WAN port and three Gigabit LAN ports. This enables users to connect compatible desktop computers, smart TVs, network switches, game consoles and other Ethernet devices directly to the router.

Gigabit connectivity also helps avoid the 100Mbps limitation found on older Fast Ethernet routers.

Target Wake Time for Connected Devices

Target Wake Time, or TWT, is another WiFi 6 feature supported by the MR80X. It allows compatible devices to better coordinate when they need to communicate with the router.
